This temporary position requires a hardworking and enthusiatsic team member to assist in maintaining this prestigious golf course to the highest of standards.
Your own transport, early morning starts, including weekends and physical work in all weathers are all pre-requisites of this position.
Work will include the preparation of the golf course, such as raking bunkers and after appropriate training, the operation of machinery.
Experience of tractor driving and the use of grass cutting equipment would be beneficial.

An opportunity has arisen for the position of Machine Operative at the Golf Club. The duties for this position will include the daily visual checks for the machine, the mowing of the fairways then the washing and refuelling of the machine at the end of the shift. All training and PPE will be provided.
The shift pattern would take the format of an early start at 6.30am as this enables a head start to prepare the course as far as possible in front of the daily play.
An example of the ideal hours would be as follows:
Monday - 6.30am - 3pm (with lunch)
Tuesday - 6.30am - 3pm (with lunch)
Wednesday - OFF
Thursday - 6.30am - 3pm (with lunch)
Friday - 6.30am - 10.30am (optional)
This is a seasonal position that would run (dependant on weather conditions) mid April to early October.
